Trash the Dress

September 30th, 2009

Over the weekend I was invited up to Allison’s parents cottage up in Cloyne for Allison’s Day After session. Greg and Allison were married August 15 of this year. This year also marked her parents 30th Anniversary so as a special part of the day Allison’s mom pulled her wedding dress out of the box it had been in for thirty years. With the ladies dressed in white Allison and her mom took there grooms for a swim.

The ladies had a blast and the day was topped off by a wonderful BBQ and cook off.

Thank you so much Greg and Allison for a wonderful afternoon I had a blast!

Muskoka Love

September 22nd, 2009

On Saturday, I joined Erica and Mat in Port Severn for their family filled resort wedding. The couple had decided while planning their wedding to have it centered not just on them and their day but on the people that meant the most to them. What resulted was a two-day wedding getaway.

Although the ceremony went off without a hitch, the much anticipated wedding had it’s fair share of ups and downs. Three weeks ago the couple contacted me in a panic as after unreturned emails and phone calls they learned their originally planned resort had foreclosed on them forcing them to move their entire wedding. The couple was lucky enough to stumble across Port Severn Lodge a beautiful resort nestled in the Muskoka region.

Congratulations Mat and Erica and thank you for allowing me to share in your day! I had a wonderful time!

And we’re live!

September 13th, 2009

Over the last few months I have had the pleasure of working with Rene from Scout Design on the total revamp of this site. I wanted to turn towards something that was more user friendly for my clients. Unfortunately I had received more than one comment about the speed and ease of my previous site which I felt was becoming a slight nuisance to those landing on it. What came out of this rework I couldn’t be happier with!

From here on out I am happy to say that I will be working to keep you posted and up to date on all the latest going on with Adelita Rose. Although I will be continuing to post my regular photo sneak peeks on my Facebook fan page I will also be posting them here, so check back often!

Thank you so much to Rene and the team at Scout and of course Jacob Kennedy for everything! It has been such a pleasure working with you on this!

Now go check it out!
