I finally had the chance to meet Ryan and Erin the evening before their wedding. They had asked if they could use their engagement photos for their rehearsal dinner instead and I happily agreed. It was easy to tell their laid back attitude before ever spending a moment with the happy couple. The pulled pork sandwiches and completely relaxed vibe was evident the moment I arrived at Isaiah Tubbs. Laughter, and anticipation of the coming day filled the air that evening.
Fast forward to Saturday afternoon and my arrival to Beach House #704. The weather had taken a turn for the worse and the fear of rain was in the back of everyones minds. Rain it did, but in the tradition of Prince Edward County’s unpredictable weather patterns the sky began to brighten half an hour before the ceremony. I told Erin it was going to clear up. Twenty minutes later the clouds had parted and the sun was shining. Erin turned to me and offered a high-five for my favourable weather prediction.
The rain stayed away and the ceremony was beautiful!
Thank you so much Ryan and Erin for allowing me to be part of your day. I wish you all the best as you begin your life together as a married couple.

I first got to know Greg and Lauren last year when I photographed their wedding. I first found out Lauren was pregnant a few months later during their day after shoot. I was so excited and knew immediately they would be one of my candidates for baby photography trial and error.
It was such a pleasure to finally meet Elita and to once again work with Greg and Lauren. Elita could honestly not ask for more loving and wonderful parents.
Thank you again Greg and Lauren and all the best to you and your growing family.

A while back I enlisted the help of Chrissy Poitras of Spark Box Studio to make me some baby props. I had been thinking of new ways to branch out my photography, and in full honesty have never had much desire to own my own studio, but if I could take the camera to them, then why not…
I had learned through the grapevine that Nick and Ashleigh were expecting and contacted them about being sort of a Guinea Pig to my new venture. I am still trying to figure this all out, so I welcome your comments and suggestions of improvement
But without further ado… welcome baby Gabriel George James, born 12:33 a.m., Saturday, May 8th at Belleville General Hospital, weighing 7 lbs 2 oz and 20 3/4 inches long.

Thank you so much Nick, Ashleigh and Gabe!
